Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Be between 18 and 89 years old
  • Have a radiological diagnosis or suspicion of WHO Grade II-IV glioma
  • Have not received treatment except possibly a previous biopsy for the glioma
  • Plan to undergo surgical removal and biopsy of the brain tumor
  • Have enough tumor tissue so that at least two biopsy samples can be collected
  • Be able to read and write in English
  • Be able to lie on your back for up to 80 minutes
  • Be able to hold still during MRI procedures
  • Have signed the consent form or have a legally authorized representative who has signed
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Have conditions preventing MRI completion, such as claustrophobia, pacemaker, metal implants, or pregnancy
  • Have serious unstable medical or mental illness
  • Have insufficient tumor tissue for at least two biopsy samples
  • Have medical reasons to avoid any study procedures
  • Have not read, signed, or do not understand the consent form
  • Are currently pregnant
  • Are at high risk for nephrogenic systemic fibrosis and cannot follow the contrast agent dosing protocol
