Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 20 years or older
- Diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck
- Available p16 immunohistochemical staining status for OPSCC subgroup
- Availability of archival tumor tissues from primary tumor and from first recurrent tumor for recurrence subgroup
- Recurrence defined as disease reappearance more than 6 months after curative surgery and/or chemoradiotherapy for recurrence subgroup
- Willing to provide archival or newly obtained tumor tissues for the study
- Life expectancy longer than 3 months
- Fully understand the protocol and willing to undergo regular follow-up
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to provide complete medical history
- No available tumor tissue for genetic testing
- Poor compliance
- Having an additional progressing malignancy or one requiring active treatment within past 3 years (except basal cell carcinoma of skin, squamous cell carcinoma of skin, or carcinoma in situ treated curatively)
