Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Undergoing primary elective unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA)
- In good health based on laboratory safety testing as described in the protocol
You will not qualify if you...
- Any condition that may affect study results or increase risk as judged by the investigator
- History of bleeding requiring hospitalization or transfusion in the past 6 months, intracranial or intraocular bleeding, excessive operative or postoperative bleeding, traumatic spinal or epidural anesthesia, or bleeding disorders such as hemophilia A or B or von Willebrand's Factor deficiency
- History of thromboembolic disease or thrombophilia
- History of platelet dysfunction
- Received or plans to receive preoperative enoxaparin on the day before TKA surgery
