Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Craniovertebral angle (CVA) less than 50 degrees
- University students attending consecutive lectures for at least 3 hours
- Spending 3 hours or more working forward on a laptop or computer
You will not qualify if you...
- History of significant medical conditions affecting the cervical spine, such as cancer, osteoporosis, nerve root symptoms, inflammatory or infectious neck diseases, cervical spine instability, or vertebrobasilar insufficiency symptoms
- History of cervical spine injuries including fracture, sprain, strain, or whiplash
- Presence of cervical spondylosis, obvious spinal deformities, neurological or neuromuscular disorders
- Temporomandibular joint dysfunction, cervicothoracic and lumbar kyphoscoliosis, rheumatic disease, torticollis, or balance disorders
