What this Trial Is About

Researchers are investigating the multidimensional profiles of adults aged 18 to 50 with chronic low back pain (CLBP). The study aims to understand how disability relates to fear avoidance beliefs, physical performance, and quality of life in this group. It focuses on key aspects such as disability levels, fear avoidance attitudes, and overall health-related quality of life to better characterize the experience of those living with CLBP. Participants will undergo assessments that measure disability using the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), fear avoidance attitudes with the Fear Avoidance Beliefs Questionnaire for Physical Activity (FABQ-PA), and quality of life with the Short Form-12 (SF-12). Physical performance will be evaluated through trunk endurance via McGill endurance tests, functional mobility with the Timed Up and Go Test (TUG), dynamic balance using the Y-balance test, and static balance through the single leg stance test. All assessments are conducted on the first day of participation. During the study, participants will complete questionnaires and physical tests designed to evaluate their disability, fear related to physical activity, quality of life, and various aspects of physical function. Researchers will use these measurements to explore correlations between these factors in individuals with chronic low back pain. The study does not involve treatments but focuses on observation and assessment of participants' physical and psychological status at the outset of the study period.
