Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Aged 35 to 80 years
  • Admitted for neurological rehabilitation after stroke at Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Hospital
  • History of stroke at least 3 months prior
  • Neurologically and medically stable
  • Able to follow commands and participate regularly
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Serious cardiac disease or uncontrolled hypertension
  • Epilepsy or use of antiepileptic drugs
  • Intracranial metallic implants
  • Inner ear implants
  • Malignancy
  • Active infection
  • Skin infection or open wound in the intervention area
  • Brain lesions or medications affecting seizure threshold
  • Increased intracranial pressure
  • Uncontrolled migraine
  • Fracture or surgery on the hemiplegic side within last 6 months
  • Pregnancy
