Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults (18 years or older)
- Body mass index (BMI) between 30 and 50 kg/m2
- Discontinued GLP-1 therapy (semaglutide or tirzepatide) due to intolerance or less than 5% total body weight loss after 3 months at maximum dose
- Started weight loss management no earlier than August 2021
- Completed a 1-year follow-up after starting weight loss treatment
- Attended at least two follow-up visits within 1 to 9 months after starting weight loss treatment
You will not qualify if you...
- Missing information on GLP-1 treatment history, weight before treatment, or reason for stopping
- Used GLP-1 medications for reasons other than weight loss
- Had bariatric surgery or other endoscopic weight loss procedures (besides ESG with OverStitch™ or OverStitch NXT™) within 1 year before starting weight loss management
- Received other endoscopic treatments before or during ESG that could affect weight loss
- Used any additional weight loss treatments during the 1-year follow-up, including appetite suppressants, anti-obesity drugs, or body contouring surgeries
- Pregnant during the 1-year period after starting weight loss management
