Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Symptoms and signs typical for cervical spinal stenosis or myelopathy confirmed by MRI showing herniation or stenosis from C3 to C7
- No contraindications found in preoperative tests and examinations
- Body mass index (BMI) of 28 or higher
- Informed consent obtained from patient and family, with agreement to complete follow-up after surgery
You will not qualify if you...
- History of wasting diseases related to cancer or chemoradiotherapy affecting wound healing
- History of skin diseases (dermatosis)
- History of immune system diseases
- History of blood diseases
- Skin injury or defect on the back of the neck
- Severe hypersensitivity
- Cold, fever, trauma, or other infections within one week before surgery
- Infectious diseases
- Psychosis preventing cooperation with follow-up
