Angular deformities around the knee, such as genu varum (bow-leggedness), are common in children and can result from various causes including trauma, metabolic or developmental issues. This trial focuses on pediatric patients with genu varum and aims to evaluate the remaining twisting (torsional) deformity after correcting the coronal plane deformity using a surgical method called 8 plate hemi epiphysiodesis. The study involves a surgical procedure where an 8 plate and screws are applied through small incisions near the knee to guide bone growth and correct deformity. This less invasive guided growth technique aims to correct the coronal deformity of the knee. The researchers will measure how much torsional deformity remains after full correction of the coronal plane deformity. Participants will be assessed through clinical examinations over the course of one year to measure residual torsional deformity. The study will monitor the correction progress and evaluate outcomes to better understand the effectiveness of this surgical approach in children aged between 2.5 and 12 years with genu varum. The total participation involves follow-up assessments to track the surgical results and bone alignment over time.
