Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients who are age 70 or older at time of initial consult at DF/BWCC
- Diagnosed with a gastrointestinal cancer, including cancers of the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, bile duct, ampulla, colon, rectum, anus, or neuroendocrine tumors
- Continuing care at DF/BWCC beyond initial consult visit
- English or Spanish speaking
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients younger than 70 at time of initial consult at DF/BWCC
- Not continuing care at DF/BWCC beyond first consult visit
- Not proficient in English or Spanish
- Considered inappropriate for enrollment by primary oncology team due to complex medical, social, or other reasons
- Psychiatric illness or social situations limiting compliance with study requirements
