Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of Stage 2-3 COPD according to ATS-ERS criteria
- Using the same COPD medications for the last 4 weeks
- For healthy participants: over 18 years old
- For healthy participants: no diagnosed chronic disease
- For healthy participants: not a smoker
You will not qualify if you...
- Severe comorbid diseases, unstable coronary artery disease, collagen vascular diseases
- Requiring high-flow oxygen therapy (≥ 3-4 L/min)
- Any vascular problems affecting lower extremity muscle oxygenation
- Other respiratory diseases besides COPD
- Acute COPD exacerbation in the last 4 weeks
- Experiencing COPD exacerbations during the study
- Fatty or scar tissue at measurement points affecting measurement quality
- Participation in another clinical trial within the last 30 days that may affect study results
