Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 19 years or older
- Able to verbally confirm understanding of risks, benefits, and treatment options and provide written informed consent
- Left ventricular ejection fraction less than 40% from cardiac MRI
- Multivessel disease in major epicardial coronary arteries or branches with vessel size 2.5 mm or greater, considering coronary revascularization
You will not qualify if you...
- More than 50% transmural infarction on MRI in over 25% of dysfunctional heart segments
- Suspicion of other cardiomyopathies such as dilated or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Myocardial infarction within the past 4 weeks
- Recent fatal arrhythmia (ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation) within 4 weeks
- Hemodynamically unstable condition
- Complex coronary lesions like chronic total occlusions making complete revascularization unfeasible
- Coronary artery bypass surgery preferred over intervention
- Severe valvular heart disease requiring open heart surgery
- History of coronary artery bypass or valve surgery
- Life expectancy less than 1 year
- Deemed ineligible by the investigator
