Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age over 18 years old
- Diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis according to the 2017 McDonald Criteria for MS patients
- Diagnosis of Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disease, or other neuroinflammatory disorders for non-MS patients
You will not qualify if you...
- Inability to undergo Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) or retinal vessel imaging (e.g. severe nystagmus preventing eye fixation)
- Presence of ocular diseases interfering with OCT or retinal vessel analysis validity (e.g., cataracts, glaucoma, history of refractive defects >6 diopters)
- Pregnancy or lactation
- For healthy controls: history of other significant neurological conditions affecting assessment or symptom interpretation (e.g., stroke, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, chronic inflammatory demyelinating disease, polyneuropathy)
