Retro-walking Versus Forward-walking Training Using Underwater Treadmill in Patients With Knee Osteoarthritis
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- 60 patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis
- Age between 40 and 60 years old, both genders
- Body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 35 kg/m2
- Mild or moderate osteoarthritis with Kellgren-Lawrence grade 1 to 3
- Unilateral knee osteoarthritis involvement
You will not qualify if you...
- Hydrophobia
- Pregnancy
- Infection
- Psychiatric disorder
- Haemorrhagic diathesis
- Cardiac pacemaker
- Deformity of hip, knee, or ankle
- Central or peripheral nervous system involvement
- Recent steroidal or intraarticular injections within 3 months
- Systemic inflammatory disease or bone malignancy
