Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Signed informed consent provided
- Male and female patients
- Age between 6 and 18 years
- General health status classified as ASA I or II
- Presence of a permanent immature tooth with Cvek root maturation stage 2 or less requiring revitalization
- Tooth affected by (a)symptomatic apical periodontitis or irreversible pulpitis following dental trauma
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to comply with study procedures as judged by the investigator
- Age younger than 6 years or older than 18 years
- Deciduous (baby) teeth
- Permanent immature tooth with Cvek root maturation stage greater than 2 suitable for conventional root canal treatment or apexification
- Current or suspected malignancy
- History of chemotherapy within the last 5 years
- History of radiation therapy to the head and neck
- Presence of other metabolic bone diseases
- Bleeding disorders
- Participation in the planning or conduct of this study
