Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female patients aged 18 years or older
- Patients with squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck without metastases from other tumors
- Patients undergoing radiotherapy with an ECOG performance status of 0, 1, or 2
- Patients receiving intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) as radical or adjuvant treatment, with or without chemotherapy
- Patients willing and able to provide written informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Receiving any other approved or investigational anti-cancer agents not specified in this study
- Pregnant or breastfeeding female patients
- Patients with oral lesions unrelated to treatment or cancer
- Patients taking drugs that may cause oral lesions or using anticoagulants
