Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Acute iliofemoral deep venous thrombosis
- Life expectancy more than 1 year
You will not qualify if you...
- Recurrence of deep venous thrombosis
- Chronic deep venous thrombosis
- Catheter cannot be used in vessels smaller than 6mm
- Contraindications for endovascular procedures
- Cannot tolerate contrast media
- Lesions inaccessible with guide wire
- Pregnancy
- History of pelvic surgery with left iliac vein injury or pelvic radioactive therapy
