Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with asthma according to the 2016 Guidelines for Bronchial Asthma in Children
  • Age between 4 and 12 years, either newly diagnosed or with recurrent episodes
  • Exhibiting typical clinical asthma symptoms and having complete clinical data
  • Parent or guardian provides informed consent for participation
  • Healthy control children must have no history of lung disease, allergic rhinitis, or other atopic diseases
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Having other respiratory diseases such as bronchiectasis, allergic rhinitis, respiratory failure, tuberculosis, or obstructive airway disease
  • Having other inflammatory diseases
  • Abnormal development of congenital airway or lung tissue
  • Use of immunosuppressants or glucocorticoids within the past 4 weeks
  • Having endocrine or immune system diseases
  • Incomplete clinical data or examinations
