Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older undergoing cardiothoracic surgery
- Male or non-pregnant female
- Able and willing to use one of the wearable devices (Fitbit, iWatch, Biostrap)
- Willing to provide informed consent and able to complete all study procedures
You will not qualify if you...
- Mental incapacity or cognitive impairment preventing understanding or cooperation with the study
- Pregnancy
- Severe irreversible pulmonary hypertension
- Congenital heart disease
- Chronic renal insufficiency or on chronic renal replacement therapy
- Liver cirrhosis
