Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with a confirmed diagnosis of gastric adenocarcinoma before surgery
- Patients who have had a complete surgical removal of their cancer (R0 resection)
- Patients with an ASA score of 3 or below
- Patients aged 20 years or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients younger than 19 years
- Presence of ascites or spread of cancer to the peritoneum
- Patients who had chemotherapy or radiotherapy before surgery
- Diagnosis of cancers other than gastric cancer
- Uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune diseases, or history of hypertrophic scars or keloids
- History of allergy or adverse reactions to Ropivacaine or local anesthetics
- Pregnant women
- Patients with chronic pain conditions before surgery, including CRPS
- Long-term use of opioid pain medicines before surgery
- Psychiatric disorders that may interfere with participation
- Severe liver disease, kidney disease, or irregular heartbeat
