Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Clinical diagnosis of schizophrenia
- Must be right-handed
- Primary school education or above
- Understand and sign a written informed consent form (jointly signed by guardian if under 18 years old)
- Persistent auditory hallucinations despite at least 6 months of sufficient antipsychotic medication and use of 3 antipsychotic drugs, with an AHRS score greater than 12
You will not qualify if you...
- Electroconvulsive therapy (MECT) within the past 3 months
- Major physical illnesses such as sensory and motor disorders, neurological disorders, or traumatic brain injury
- Symptoms that prevent rTMS treatment, including intracranial metal implants
- Aggressive behavior or impulse to damage equipment
- Presence of metal inside the body, including orthodontic treatment and dental implants, or tattoos
- Claustrophobia
