Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients voluntarily join this study and sign an informed consent form
- Age 14 years or older but younger than 80 years, any gender
- Thyroid cancer diagnosed by histopathology, including differentiated, medullary, or poorly differentiated types
- High risk of local late recurrence, meeting any of: incomplete (non-R0) surgery, post-neoadjuvant therapy, poor prognosis pathological types (e.g., poorly differentiated, CASTLE), extracapsular invasion involving important structures, or distant metastasis where local treatment is considered
- Normal main organ functions
- Good compliance and cooperation with follow-up
You will not qualify if you...
- Untreated thyroid cancer or thyroid cancer treated only by surgical biopsy
- Other active malignant tumors within 5 years, except certain cured local tumors (e.g., skin basal cell carcinoma, superficial bladder cancer, carcinoma in situ of prostate, cervix, or breast)
- Prior radiation therapy to the head and neck
- Pregnant or lactating women
- Other physical illnesses affecting ability to receive standard treatment
- Serious illnesses (including mental illness), abnormal lab values, or social/family factors that may affect safety or data collection, as judged by the researcher
- Claustrophobia preventing radiation therapy
- Other conditions deemed unsuitable by the treating physician
