- Active cancer
- Chronic multisystem organ failure
- Pregnancy
- Clinically significant abnormalities on pre-treatment laboratory evaluation
- Medical condition that could compromise patient's safety based on investigator's opinion
- Previous organ transplant
- Seizure disorder
- Hypersensitivity to sulfur
