Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients with malignant tumors planning to receive chemotherapy with moderate risk of vomiting
  • Age between 18 and 75 years
  • Karnofsky Performance Status (KPS) score of 70 or higher
  • Expected survival time longer than 3 months
  • Normal ECG, blood tests, liver and kidney function, and electrolytes before treatment
  • Signed informed consent form
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patients with contraindications to chemotherapy
  • Allergy to 5-HT3 receptor antagonists
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Presence of digestive tract obstruction
  • Serious heart, liver, kidney disease, or metabolic disorders
  • History of epilepsy or current use of psychotropic or sedative drugs
  • Use of antiemetic drugs or chemotherapy within 24 hours before treatment
  • History of vomiting caused by brain metastasis, intracranial hypertension, gastrointestinal obstruction, psychological abnormalities, or other factors causing nausea and vomiting
