Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Failed ERCP
  • Papilla is inaccessible due to surgically altered anatomy or gastric outlet obstruction
  • Contraindications for PTCD such as ascites and risk of self-tube removal
  • Age 18 years or older
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patients younger than 18 years old
  • Cancer infiltration of the gastric or duodenal wall along planned puncture route
  • Uncorrectable coagulopathy
  • Unmanageable ascites
  • Serious comorbidities preventing endoscopic management
  • Pregnancy
  • Unable or unwilling to provide informed consent
