Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Able to give signed informed consent
- In good general and mental health without ongoing clinically significant medical issues
- Diagnosed with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension and have age-related cataract eligible for intra-capsular intraocular lens placement
- Undergoing successful, uncomplicated cataract surgery
You will not qualify if you...
- History of hypersensitivity or contraindications to beta-blockers
- Using systemic or topical drugs that affect visual performance, pupil dilation, or iris structure
- At significant risk from stopping ocular hypotensive medications
- Having significant eye diseases other than ocular hypertension, glaucoma, or cataract
