Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants must have confirmed breast cancer with testing of estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, and HER2 status.
- Participants must have distant metastases or unresectable, locally recurrent breast cancer and be starting first or second line chemotherapy within 8 weeks or have inflammatory breast cancer treated with curative intent within 6 months.
- Participants must be 18 years or older.
- Participants must have a life expectancy greater than 12 weeks.
- Participants must be willing to undergo study procedures.
- Women able to become pregnant must agree to use birth control during the study.
- Participants must be able to understand and sign informed consent.
You will not qualify if you...
- Participants with any contraindication to MRI, such as noncompatible implanted metallic devices.
- Participants with chronic kidney disease stage IV-V or end stage renal disease.
- Participants with a history of severe allergic reaction to gadolinium.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Patients with a prior diagnosis of brain metastases.
