Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Serum samples from people diagnosed with multiple myeloma included by serum protein electrophoresis, immunofixation electrophoresis, Ig isotype detection, or other methods
  • Healthy individuals with normal physical examination reports
  • Controls matched to cases by age and sex
  • No recent major chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, or chronic kidney disease

You will not qualify if you...

  • Samples with incomplete information or untraceable source
  • Samples with insufficient volume for testing
  • Samples not meeting collection and storage requirements
