Age: 40Years - 80Years

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Male patients younger than 80 years
  • Prostate adenocarcinoma confirmed by transrectal biopsy with at least 10 cores
  • Pre-biopsy PSA level of 10 ng/ml or less
  • PSA density less than 0.15 ng/ml/ml
  • Clinical stage T1 to T2a prostate cancer
  • Biopsy Gleason score of 6 or less
  • Two or fewer positive biopsy cores
  • Maximum cancer involvement of 20% or less in any one core
  • No PIRADS 5 lesion on multiparametric prostate MRI (1.5T or 3T)
  • Willingness to attend follow-up visits; confirmation of T1a-b disease by systematic biopsy with at least 10 cores

  • Previous therapy for prostate cancer
