Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Clinicians must be senior registrar or consultant medical or surgical doctors caring for inpatients at participating hospitals
- Clinicians must be willing and able to give informed consent
- Clinicians must be fluent in English
- Patients must be 16 years or older
- Patients must be willing and able to give informed consent
- Patients must be male or female
- Patients must have a good standard of spoken English and be able to read and understand study materials
- Patients must have received antibiotics during inpatient stay for suspected or confirmed bacterial infection
You will not qualify if you...
- Clinicians who are prescribers but not currently caring for inpatients
- Patients who received antibiotics only for prophylaxis
