Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female patients > 18 years
- Scheduled for isolated coronary artery bypass grafting requiring 2 or more venous grafts
- Elective or urgent coronary artery bypass grafting cases
- Median sternotomy surgical approach
- Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of 15 ml/min or higher
- Willing to participate in the trial
- Able to provide informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- History of venous stripping or ligation
- Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus with HbA1c 9% or higher
- Currently enrolled in another therapeutic or interventional trial
- Hemodynamically unstable condition
- Cardiogenic shock
- Any condition that greatly increases risk of noncompliance or loss to follow-up
- Emergency surgery case
- Salvage surgery case
