Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age over 18 years
- Suspected or confirmed primary lung cancer with planned surgery
- Moderate-to-high perioperative risk defined by specific lung function measures or peak oxygen uptake
- Signed informed consent and agreement to follow the study protocol
- Completed baseline cardiopulmonary exercise testing
You will not qualify if you...
- History or current diagnosis of other malignant tumors
- Life expectancy less than 1 year
- Dementia, frailty, musculoskeletal issues preventing exercise
- Unable to maintain exercise training
- Irregular vital signs such as abnormal heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, or oxygen saturation
- Currently participating in another clinical trial
- Patient refusal to participate
