Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients acceptance
  • Age between 41 and 65 years old
  • Male or female sex
  • Physical status classified as American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) I or II
  • Patients attending orthopedic or pain clinics with shoulder pain and stiffness
  • Symptoms not improved after at least 2 weeks of conservative pain management
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Shoulder pain caused by secondary reasons such as acute trauma, fractures, bony deformity, glenohumeral joint pathology, acromioclavicular joint pathology, or rotator cuff disorder
  • Contraindications for regional blocks, including coagulopathy or local infection at the injection site
  • Known allergies to bupivacaine or methylprednisolone
  • Advanced liver, kidney, heart, neurological, or respiratory diseases
  • Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus or thyroid disorders
  • History of neuropathy in the affected limb or previous revision surgery
