Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients acceptance
- Age between 41 and 65 years old
- Male or female sex
- Physical status classified as American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) I or II
- Patients attending orthopedic or pain clinics with shoulder pain and stiffness
- Symptoms not improved after at least 2 weeks of conservative pain management
You will not qualify if you...
- Shoulder pain caused by secondary reasons such as acute trauma, fractures, bony deformity, glenohumeral joint pathology, acromioclavicular joint pathology, or rotator cuff disorder
- Contraindications for regional blocks, including coagulopathy or local infection at the injection site
- Known allergies to bupivacaine or methylprednisolone
- Advanced liver, kidney, heart, neurological, or respiratory diseases
- Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus or thyroid disorders
- History of neuropathy in the affected limb or previous revision surgery
