Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participant aged 6 18 years.
- Diagnosis of any cancer with one to two painful and treatable metastatic bone lesions.
- Bone metastases are causing pain or instability as judged by the treating investigator.
- Suitable for single fraction radiation therapy based on physician's assessment.
- CT scan collected within 60 days before registration showing adequate visualization of the target site.
- Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Performance Status 2 or less.
- Female participants of childbearing potential must have a negative pregnancy test within 14 days before radiation therapy or on the day of treatment with results available beforehand.
- Post-menopausal status defined by amenorrhea for 12 months without alternative medical cause, with specific age-related hormone level criteria.
- Participants of childbearing potential and those with partners of childbearing potential must agree to use highly effective contraception.
- Able to provide informed consent and willing to sign an approved consent form.
You will not qualify if you...
- Evidence of spinal cord compression caused by the bone metastases to be treated.
- Any condition that the investigator believes contraindicates participation due to safety or compliance concerns.
- Medical, psychiatric, cognitive, or other conditions impairing the ability to understand information, consent, comply with the protocol, or complete the study.
- Taking prohibited medications as described in the study protocol.
