Single Arm Pilot Trial of Letermovir for CMV Prophy in CAR T Cell
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- ECOG performance status of 0 or 1
- Scheduled for standard of care axicabtagene ciloleucel (AXI-CEL) therapy
- Seropositive for cytomegalovirus (CMV) as shown by anti-CMV IgG antibodies
- Creatinine clearance greater than 10 mL/min
- Child Pugh class A or B if liver disease is present
- Agree to use effective contraception if of child-bearing potential
- Understand and sign informed consent before any study procedures
You will not qualify if you...
- Uncontrolled illness including active infections not responding to treatment, heart failure, unstable angina, arrhythmia, or psychiatric/social issues limiting study compliance
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Unable or unwilling to follow study requirements
- Planned treatment with high-dose anti-CMV drugs such as acyclovir or valacyclovir for CMV prevention
- Any condition making the participant unsuitable for study drug as judged by the Investigator
- Evidence of CMV infection within 1 week before starting Letermovir
- Child Pugh class C liver disease
