Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients of both sexes with badly decayed tooth indicated for extraction
- Age between 25 and 50 years
- Medically healthy with no systemic conditions
- Adequate inter-arch space for implant prosthetic placement
- Good oral hygiene
- Willing to commit to 6 months follow-up
You will not qualify if you...
- History of head and neck irradiation within 1 year before implantation
- Poor oral hygiene and motivation
- Smokers
- Medical conditions that contraindicate surgery
- Pregnant or nursing women
- Substance abuse
- Habits affecting implant longevity such as alcoholism, severe bruxism, or clenching
- Active infection or severe inflammation at implant site
- Use of medications that interfere with healing such as corticosteroids, bisphosphonates, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy
