Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Constant, chronic tinnitus lasting at least 6 months
  • Tinnitus that is bothersome based on Tinnitus Functional Index score and self-reported loudness
  • Ability to change tinnitus perception with head, neck, or jaw movements
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Presence of middle ear pathology
  • Not suitable for physical therapy
  • Injury to the temporomandibular area within the past 3 months
  • Active pathology in the orofacial region
