Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 60 and 75 years
- Native French speaker
- Have given consent to participate
- Have an active social life or hobbies that stimulate cognitive abilities
- MOCA score above 26
- No tympano-ossicular dysfunction
- Normal voice in noise audiometry results
- For hearing-impaired participants: pure tone audiometry showing N3 or N4 audiograms symmetrical between ears
- Report problems with abnormally prominent sounds
- For normal hearing participants: pure tone audiometry losses less than 30 dBHl
You will not qualify if you...
- Under guardianship or curatorship
- Deprived of liberty by judicial or administrative decision or under legal protection
- History of ear infection or ENT disease permanently affecting hearing or balance (e.g., vestibular schwannoma, Ménière's disease, sudden or fluctuating deafness, congenital hypoacusis)
