Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age between 60 and 75 years
  • Native French speaker
  • Have given consent to participate
  • Have an active social life or hobbies that stimulate cognitive abilities
  • MOCA score above 26
  • No tympano-ossicular dysfunction
  • Normal voice in noise audiometry results
  • For hearing-impaired participants: pure tone audiometry showing N3 or N4 audiograms symmetrical between ears
  • Report problems with abnormally prominent sounds
  • For normal hearing participants: pure tone audiometry losses less than 30 dBHl
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Under guardianship or curatorship
  • Deprived of liberty by judicial or administrative decision or under legal protection
  • History of ear infection or ENT disease permanently affecting hearing or balance (e.g., vestibular schwannoma, Ménière's disease, sudden or fluctuating deafness, congenital hypoacusis)
