Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults aged 18 to 30 years who are healthy without physical or neurological disabilities
- Adults aged 45 to 90 years who are healthy without physical or neurological disabilities
- Adults aged 40 to 90 years with right hemisphere stroke at least 3 months prior
- Presence of aiming spatial neglect
- Ability to walk more than 10 meters with or without assistive devices
- Unilateral left-sided hemiparesis with arm strength grade 4/5 or less on the Medical Research Council Scale
- Ability to follow 3-stage commands and provide informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- History or signs of orthopedic or physical disability
- History or signs of neurological disorders
- Pregnancy (female participants)
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- Presence of cardiac pacemaker or other implanted electronic device
- Skin conditions preventing electrical stimulation setup
- Impaired sensation in the left upper limb
- Bruises or cuts at electrode placement sites
- Participation in other rehabilitation or investigational studies
- Severe uncontrolled medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, active cancer, renal disease, or epilepsy
- Contraindications to transcranial magnetic stimulation such as metal implants or medications increasing cortical excitability
- History of multiple strokes or brainstem strokes (stroke group)
- Cerebellar disorders (stroke group)
