Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of idiopathic Parkinson's Disease
- Hoehn and Yahr stage between 1 and 3
- Able to understand the Dutch language
- Able to walk independently
- Participate in 120 minutes or less of sports or outdoor activities per day
- Less than 7,000 steps per day during the 1-month baseline period before the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Experienced weekly falls in the past 3 months
- Have medical conditions other than Parkinson's Disease that affect mobility
- Living in a nursing home
- Have cognitive impairments that make using the app difficult
- Do not have a suitable smartphone (iPhone 5S or newer with iOS 10 or higher, or Android 4.1 or newer)
