If steroid diabetes is not recognized in time, it will cause irreversible damage to the body. Nephropathy patients are more likely to have steroid diabetes ,the incidence rate up to 25%,due to hypoalbuminemia, high-dose hormone and other reasons, so they need to be closely followed up, identified and intervened in time.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients who need glucocorticoids for nephrotic syndrome, Immunoglobulin A nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, ANCA-associated vasculitis, or systemic lupus erythematosus
- Initial daily dose of glucocorticoids at least 10mg of prednisolone
- Age between 18 and 75 years
- No previous diagnosis of diabetes
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with diabetes
- Unable to communicate verbally
- Uremic patients
- Unable to perform required blood glucose monitoring and follow-up
- Used glucocorticoids in past 3 months with cumulative dose of 10mg or more prednisone
- Participation in other clinical studies
