Researchers are studying patients with Hodgkin lymphoma who are either newly diagnosed at stages IIb, III, or IV, or who have been in complete remission for at least two years after first-line therapy. The study focuses on understanding how these patients may experience accelerated biological aging, including early non-cancer health complications and secondary cancers, despite their long life expectancy. This is an exploratory, monocentric study involving experimental analysis on human tissues in vitro. The study involves collecting peripheral blood samples from participants with Hodgkin lymphoma who meet the specified disease stage and remission criteria. These samples will be analyzed to evaluate epigenetic and inflammatory markers related to accelerated biological aging. The study includes patients newly diagnosed and those in remission for at least two years following first-line therapy. There are no other treatments or interventions described. Participants will undergo blood sampling for analysis of senescence markers such as CD57, KLRG1, CD62L, and CD45RA, as well as DNA methylation rates. These evaluations will continue throughout the study duration, averaging two years. The researchers aim to understand biological aging markers in these patients, monitoring them over this period.
