A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Drug Levels of Deucravacitinib (BMS-986165) in Adolescent Participants With Moderate to Severe Plaque Psoriasis
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants must have stable plaque psoriasis for 6 months or more prior to Screening.
- Participants must have moderate to severe psoriasis defined by Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) 2 12 at screening and Day 1.
- Participants must have static Physician's Global Assessment (sPGA) 2 3 at screening and Day 1.
- Participants must have Body Surface Area (BSA) 2 10% involvement at screening and Day 1.
- Female participants assigned at birth must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Female participants assigned at birth must either not be of childbearing potential or must use a highly effective contraceptive method during the study and for at least 3 days after stopping the study drug, and agree not to donate eggs for reproduction during this time.
You will not qualify if you...
- Participants must not weigh less than 30.0 kg at Screening and Day 1.
- Participants must not have non-plaque psoriasis types such as guttate, inverse, pustular, erythrodermic, or drug-induced psoriasis.
- Participants must not have any skin condition other than plaque psoriasis that could interfere with treatment assessments.
- Participants must not have had serious bacterial, fungal, or viral infections requiring hospitalization and IV antimicrobial treatment within 60 days before Day 1.
- Participants must not have any untreated bacterial infection within 60 days before Day 1.
- Participants must not have ongoing chronic bacterial infections such as chronic pyelonephritis, osteomyelitis, or bronchiectasis.
- Participants must not have herpes simplex/zoster, active tuberculosis, hepatitis C, hepatitis B, or HIV infection.
- Participants must not have received live vaccines or BCG within 60 days before Day 1 or plan to receive them during the study or within 60 days after study intervention.
- Participants must not have had prior exposure to deucravacitinib.
- Participants must not have taken any medication that is specifically prohibited.
- Participants must not have laboratory findings that exclude participation.
- Participants must not have major illnesses or unstable clinical conditions that increase risk.
- Participants must not have had cancer or lymphoproliferative disease within the past 5 years.
- Other protocol-defined inclusion/exclusion criteria also apply.
