Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of hidradenitis suppurativa for at least 6 months prior to screening visit
- Mild to moderate hidradenitis suppurativa (Hurley I or II) at screening and baseline
- A total abscess and nodule count of at least 4 with no draining tunnels at screening and baseline
- Affected areas include at least 2 distinct anatomical sites
- Agreement to not use topical and systemic antibiotics for hidradenitis suppurativa during the vehicle-controlled period
- Agreement to not use topical antiseptics on affected areas during the vehicle-controlled period and weeks 16 to 20 of extension period
- Further inclusion criteria may apply
You will not qualify if you...
- Body surface area to be treated exceeds 20% at screening or baseline
- Presence of draining tunnels at screening or baseline
- History or current presence of certain infections, cancer, lymphoproliferative disorders, or other medical conditions as judged by investigator
- Laboratory values outside protocol-defined criteria
- Pregnant or breastfeeding participants, or those planning pregnancy during study participation
- Further exclusion criteria may apply
