Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Students aged 18 to 25 years
- Smoking more than 5 cigarettes per day for at least 6 months
- Motivated to quit smoking
- Without legal tutors or subordination
- Affiliated to a health insurance system as required by French biomedical research law
- Provided written informed consent to participate in the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Roommates and couples
- Contraindication to nicotine replacement therapy (NRT)
- Diagnosis of depression, psychosis, cognitive disorder, or mental retardation
- Substance misuse or alcohol dependence
- Use of smoking-cessation medication or therapies (NRT, bupropion, varenicline, cognitive-behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy) in the last 3 months
- Use of electronic cigarette for smoking cessation in the last 3 months
- Persons with enhanced legal protection, including those deprived of liberty by judicial or administrative decision, adults under legal protection, or patients in vital emergency situations
