Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Willing to undergo a procedure to obtain tumor tissue and blood draw
- Diagnosis of HER2+, hormone receptor positive (for cohort R1), or triple negative breast cancer (for cohort T1) confirmed locally
- Availability of archival tumor tissue, preferably most recent pre-treatment tissue
- Presence of a clearly growing tumor lesion accessible for biopsy, excision, or resection
- Discontinuation of prior anti-cancer treatment no longer than 4 weeks before study participation
- For acquired resistance cohorts: regular disease monitoring every 3-6 months while on recent therapy
- Accessible tumor lesion newly appeared or regrowing after at least 6 months on therapy
- For primary resistance cohort: accessible tumor lesion growing after 4 weeks but less than 6 months on therapy
You will not qualify if you...
- Any risk factors increasing complications from tumor tissue collection (e.g., bleeding disorders)
- Serious medical conditions or abnormal lab tests preventing safe participation
- Started treatment with a new anti-cancer therapy
- Progressive tumor lesion targeted for biopsy/resection is in the bone
- Treatment stopped for reasons other than disease progression
