Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Healthy male and female participants with veins suitable for blood sampling
- Females must have a negative pregnancy test and be confirmed as not able to bear children
- Fertile males with partners able to conceive must use contraception
- Body mass index between 18 and 32 kg/m2 inclusive and weight at least 50 kg
- Japanese participants must have Japanese ancestry defined by parents and grandparents
- Chinese participants must have Chinese ancestry defined by parents and grandparents
You will not qualify if you...
- History of any clinically important disease or disorder that may risk safety or affect study results
- History or presence of gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney disease or conditions affecting drug processing
- Any significant illness, surgery, or trauma within 4 weeks before first dose
- Abnormal lab results or vital signs indicating clinical concerns
- Positive tests for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV
- Abnormalities in heart rhythm or ECG at screening or admission
- History or suspicion of alcohol or drug abuse or excessive alcohol intake
- Positive screening for drugs of abuse, alcohol, or cotinine
- History of severe allergy or ongoing significant allergies
- Previous participation in a study with AZD3974
