Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Male or female, any race
  • Age 218 years or older
  • Able to provide written informed consent for research procedures
  • Healthy volunteer or diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis using the revised McDonald criteria (2017)
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Allergic to [18F]FZTA or its ingredients
  • Cannot safely undergo PET, CT, or MRI scans (e.g., due to certain medical devices or inability to lie still)
  • Severe claustrophobia
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Currently receiving radiation therapy
  • Any condition increasing risk or preventing tolerance of study procedures (e.g., kidney or liver failure, advanced cancer)
  • Recent serious heart conditions or abnormal ECG findings within last 6 months
  • Participation in other studies with radioactive agents exceeding federal radiation limits within past 12 months
