Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female, any race
- Age 218 years or older
- Able to provide written informed consent for research procedures
- Healthy volunteer or diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis using the revised McDonald criteria (2017)
You will not qualify if you...
- Allergic to [18F]FZTA or its ingredients
- Cannot safely undergo PET, CT, or MRI scans (e.g., due to certain medical devices or inability to lie still)
- Severe claustrophobia
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Currently receiving radiation therapy
- Any condition increasing risk or preventing tolerance of study procedures (e.g., kidney or liver failure, advanced cancer)
- Recent serious heart conditions or abnormal ECG findings within last 6 months
- Participation in other studies with radioactive agents exceeding federal radiation limits within past 12 months
