Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Provide voluntary written consent to participate
- For Part 1: Japanese or non-Asian healthy men aged 18 to less than 55 years, or Japanese healthy men aged 65 to less than 80 years
- For Part 2: Japanese patients with essential hypertension aged 18 to less than 65 years
- For Part 3: Japanese patients with essential hypertension aged 18 to less than 80 years
- Body Mass Index (BMI) within the specified range at screening
You will not qualify if you...
- History of respiratory, heart, gastrointestinal, kidney, liver, psychiatric, autoimmune diseases, or malignant tumors affecting study assessments
- History or current drug allergy
- History or current alcoholism or drug addiction
- Smoking within the specified period
- Infection within the specified period
- Pregnant or breastfeeding or planning to have a child during the study (Parts 2 and 3)
- Any condition considered unsuitable for study participation by the investigator
