Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Obesity (BMI �30 kg/m2) without or with controlled chronic conditions (e.g., controlled hypertension)
You will not qualify if you...
- Weight changes greater than 3% in the previous 3 months
- History of bariatric surgery including lap band and bariatric endoscopy
- Significant untreated psychiatric dysfunction based on anxiety, depression, eating disorder, or suicide risk assessments
- Current use of anti-obesity medications or GLP1 receptor agonists for Type 2 Diabetes
- Any contraindication to FDA-approved GLP1 receptor agonists
- Pregnancy or planning to become pregnant
- Enrollment limited by gene cohort ratio (2:1) causing potential screen failure
- Family member already enrolled in this study
- Exclusion at Principal Investigator discretion
